Hi There,

Answering your question would depend how you want to use your Shuttle. If you would like to control transport functions (play, rewind, fast forward, etc), you could check out these Sonar X1 settings and see if they work for you. You can easily make the X1 settings into Sonar 8 settings by following our video guides:

Sonar X1 settings: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=154
Video guides: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL11F8482103971AA9

Here is a link to the keyboard shortcuts for Sonar: http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation/d ... ml#1306691

If you want to use the Shuttle as a MIDI device, you can try the Controller Mate software which allows you to use any USB device as a MIDI device.
